GREAT NORTH RUN 2006
Well we haven't blogged for a while, no time - out training for GNR ..........
The training worked out well as we completed the course in 2 hours and 22 mins. The cramp started to make its presence felt along the coast road, that is a long finishing straight; doesn't seem like it in the car!
We really enjoyed ourselves, even when we got saturated with the down pour. The long wait at the start was a bind, especially when you know the race has started, and that some of the elite athletes are almost finishing!
We managed to raise money for Children with Muscular Dystrophy in the process.
